Bradley DeWayne Sellers Jr., 16, of Wilburton, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009, in Wilburton.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wilburton High School Auditorium with the Rev. Daniel Miller officiating. Burial will be at Lutie Cemetery in Wilburton. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Waldrop Funeral Home of Wilburton.
Born Sept. 17, 1992, in McAlester, he was the son of Bradley DeWayne and Teresa (Basile) Sellers. He was a student at Wilburton High School and would have been a junior this coming year.
Survivors include his mother and companion, Teresa Sellers and Rod Hovland, of the home; sister, Allison Sellers, of the home; father and stepmother, Bradley and Kachira Sellers Sr., Forney, Texas; stepbrother, Preston Peardon, Forney, Texas; half sister, Skylar Sellers, Forney, Texas; maternal grandfather and grandmother, Daniel and Alleen Burgess, of Wilburton; maternal grandfather and grandmother, James Basile and Alma Alvardo, of Krebs; paternal grandfather and grandmother, Freddy and Carol Sellers, Forney, Texas; paternal great-grandmother, Artie Lee, Arlington, Texas; aunt, Debra Hamilton and husband, Mike McGuffey, Fort Worth, Texas, and their children, Hayden and Zack; uncle, Jonathan Basile, of Norman; aunt, Roberta Basile, of Krebs, and aunt and uncle, Candace and James Sellers, Pampa, Texas, and their children, Jacee and Savannah.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Alice and Beard James; maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Helen Basile; paternal great-grandmother, Jean Anderson, and an uncle, Lloyd Marsh.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Peters, Andrew Pranger, Wayne Anthony, Ryan Peters, Mike McGuffey and Chris Jordan.
