Flossie Ann Durant Ott, 87, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Fairmont Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at South Main Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Durant Family Cemetery with Dr. Rudia Halliburton officiating. Local arrangements are under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home of McAlester.

She was born Jan. 20, 1921, in the Peaceable Community, near McAlester. She was a Christian and was most recently a member of South Main Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas. She also attended Gulf Way Baptist Church and Freeway Manor Baptist Church and was active in the founding of Arlington Heights Baptist Church.

She traveled from Oklahoma to Borger, Texas in 1948 to marry Clifford and they made homes in several towns in Texas and Oklahoma following her husband’s schooling and work opportunities.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford Ott, of the home; daughter, Luann Ott Gilliam and husband, Edward; grandson, Daniel, San Marcos, Texas; her sister, Myrtle Mouser; brothers, C.E. “Buck” Durant, of McAlester, Albert Durant, Dallas, and nieces and nephews.
