Betty Jo Blagg, 80, of McAlester, died Monday, June 30, 2008, in McAlester.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Laura McGee Cemetery in Buffalo Valley with the Rev. O.C. Hawkins officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home of McAlester.
Born Feb. 24, 1928, in Wilburton, she was the daughter of Robert Roy and Mary Leoma (Rose) Hendershot. She worked as a seamstress and nursing assistant. She married William Ernest Blagg on Jan. 15, 1971, in Wilburton.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include sons, Harold Wayne Wolfenbarger, of Nebraska, Leslie Duane Wolfenbarger and wife, Neoma, of Krebs, and Paul Bradley Wolfenbarger and wife Rita, of Soper; daughters, Betty L. Moncrief and husband, Tom, of McAlester, and Shirley Louise Rose and husband, Jack, McLean, Texas.
Also, 24 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul J. Hendershot and wife, Sheri, Veradale, Wash.; sister, Mary Lou Slater, of McAlester, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Hendershot; husband, William Blagg in 1983; sons, Lloyd Joseph Smerker, and Michael David Wolfenbarger; daughters, Robin Wolfenbarger, and Michelle Wolfenbarger; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Ann Calistro, and Caleb Adam Lovejoy; brothers, Harley, Leonard, Roy, Leslie, and Lloyd Hendershot, and sisters, Rebecca Durham, Ollie Lowe, and Dorothy Hendershot.
Pallbearers will be J.R. Calistro, Joe Calistro, Steve Calistro, Paul Wolfenbarger, Adren Wolfenbarger, Earl Wolfenbarger, Anthony Wolfenbarger, Frankie Wren, and Daniel Moncrief.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Smith, Jack Rose, and Tom Moncrief.
