Nita Fay Labor-Wade

Nita Fay Labor-Wade, 77, died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, in Tulsa.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Mills-Coffey Chapel in Antlers with Pastor Larry Crawford officiating. Burial will be at Ethel Cemetery in Antlers. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Mills and Coffey Funeral Home of Antlers.

Born Feb. 22, 1932, in Farris, she was the daughter of William Henry and Mary Easter (Tyler) Labor.

She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed her cats, crocheting, sewing, gardening, country and western music, and traveling to California and Texas.

Survivors include two daughters, Lesa Deann Smith and husband, Jeff, of McAlester, and Mitzie Darnella Wade-Keck, of Durant; grandchildren, Shane Smith, Kaine Smith and wife, Mandi, and Sarah Stephens; great-grandchildren, Alexis Smith, Dylan Smith, Sailor Smith, Hudson Smith, and Harbor Smith.

Also, three brothers, Loyce (Peachy) Labor, of Pittsburg, John Labor, of McCurtain, and Jim Labor, of Red Oak, and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Labor; four brothers, William Labor, Chester Labor, Ordle Labor and Roy Labor, and two sisters, Rachel Labor and Opal Oldham.

Pallbearers will be Shane Smith, Kaine Smith, Jeff Smith, Dewayne Gifford, Robert Keck and Larry Crawford.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Labor and Thomas Wade.
